In order to know the usefulness of gene technology, first we need to know what is gene technology and how does it work. The gene technology or genetic technology is known as the modern branch of biotechnology which can allow the direct removal or modification of gene. Also the genetic technology is useful in transferring gene from one species to another species. When this technology can be applied for the genetic transfer in any plants and any organism, that organism then is called genetically modified organism or GMO (nature.com).
